What began as a calling to reach lonely, hurting teens has grown into a commitment to walk alongside people in recovery, offering hope, compassion, and the reminder that God’s love meets you exactly where you are.

My background

My why has developed and expanded over the years from wanting to let lonely, abandoned teenagers know they were not alone and do not need to lose themselves in drugs or end their lives.... to wanting to partner with people to walk along with them in part of their journey of recovery...... into desiring others to know how God loves them not because of what they do but because they are His and are not alone.

My approach to care

I believe in meeting people where they are, not where a program says they should be. Each person is uniquely created by God, and my approach to care is compassionate, flexible, and rooted in grace. I strive to create a safe space where clients feel seen, supported, and guided toward healing and growth.

The heart behind my work

I love being in private practice and getting to meet people where they are not where a program says they need to be. I deeply enjoy this time in my life where I am able to spend days with my grandchildren and still work several days a week.

My husband of 35 years and I like to hike and vacation; I particularly love the beach and getting away with my younger sister. We spend time with our grown kids and walk our dogs regularly. I am obsessed with Pilates and feel stronger than ever. I am really colorful and have many tattoos, they all have deep personal meaning to me, and I do not mind being asked about any of them.

“God’s love reminds us we are never alone, and walking with others through their healing is one of the greatest honors of my life.”
