Hello! I am a well-rounded therapist who enjoys inspiring and developing individuals to become their best selves. I work with clients to help them reconnect to their own qualities that move them towards personal growth along with healthier interactions with others.

My background

I started my career working with children in the public school system, and then I have spent the rest of my career in a private practice setting. I now work mainly with adults of all ages who are interested in the online platform as I am located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, which gives me an increased flexibility to reach a variety of clients.

My approach to care

My therapeutic approach to client care is compassionate, caring and supportive as I utilize a variety of modalities to meet the individual’s needs.

My primary therapeutic modalities are IFS, CBT, and DBT, as I am also working on integrating EMDR as an ancillary technique to healing wounds from the past. I work mostly with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and traumatic events as I believe that synchronizing the mind and body strengthens our entire system to heal and to function at its optimized capabilities.

Education and training background

I received my Master’s Degree from Gonzaga University, WA, in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Although I am not trained as a Christian counselor, my background is in the Christian faith which gives me a perspective of love, acceptance, and positive regard for all.

“I approach counseling with compassion and flexibility, meeting each client where they are and supporting healing of both the mind and body.”

Little bit more about me...

My personal interests include both outdoor and indoor activities such as hiking, paddle boarding, boating, snowmobiling, walking, weight training, reading and spending time with others, which include my husband, family, and the cutest dog ever.

I have personally encountered struggles in my life which drives my passion and desire for others to not feel alone in their healing process. It is my desire and belief that we can all experience relief and contentedness in our lives through the therapeutic process.
