Education, Experience, & Approach
Beyond education and training, my life experiences have profoundly shaped the way I show up for others. I have personally navigated seasons of trauma, loss, betrayal, and deep healing, gaining firsthand understanding of the pain that can accompany broken trust, grief, and life-altering circumstances.
Though these experiences are personal, I believe God redeems every part of our story. He has used my journey to cultivate empathy, discernment, and a heart for walking alongside others as they move toward restoration and hope.

My core skill set is grounded in strong organizational abilities, thoughtful reasoning, and reliability, allowing me to provide consistent and well-structured support. I value active listening and approach each individual with compassion, encouragement, and respect. I am deeply committed to confidentiality and accountability, and I strive to be resourceful and attentive in helping clients and group members navigate challenges with clarity, care, and intention.

"I believe growth comes through compassion, faith, and intentional choices, one step at a time."
Shaped by Experience, Guided by Purpose
My educational background includes college coursework in interpersonal communication, time management, goal development, decision-making, and human services—foundational areas that directly support the work I do with individuals and groups. I am currently continuing my education in social work and psychology, with additional studies in Christian life and biblical worldview, as well as intercultural communication and engagement at Liberty University. This ongoing learning allows me to integrate evidence-based principles with faith-informed care and culturally responsive practice.

Beyond formal education, my life has been deeply shaped by service and diversity. As a former military spouse for 24 years, I developed a strong appreciation for resilience, adaptability, and the complexities of life transitions. My family and relationships have also provided meaningful opportunities to engage across cultures, faith perspectives, and life experiences, broadening my understanding of identity, belonging, and community.

Together, my education, professional training, and life experiences have prepared me to serve clients with compassion, humility, and authenticity. I am committed to creating spaces that honor each individual’s story, and I remain open to working with clients whose experiences stretch my understanding and encourage continued growth—both personally and professionally.
Professional Experience & Applied Care

Professionally, I have gained experience across a wide range of fields that have strengthened my communication, relational, and support skills, while deepening my understanding of individuals and families navigating complex life circumstances. My background includes work in sales, where I learned how to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and ensure they feel seen, heard, and valued—skills that remain central to my approach today.

I have also completed foster care training through the State of Washington, which expanded my understanding of family systems, attachment, and trauma-informed care.
In my role as a Family Advocacy and Support Liaison on a military base, I worked closely with service members and their families to connect them with resources, support morale, and coordinate family-focused initiatives during times of transition and stress.

As a home daycare owner and operator, I built trusting relationships with families, supported children’s growth and development, and navigated conflict with care and professionalism.
My work as a professional organizer and business owner further strengthened my ability to help individuals address emotional attachment, overwhelm, and behavior change—guiding clients toward healthier patterns with patience and practical support.
As a certified health coach, I supported individuals in identifying root issues affecting their physical and emotional well-being and implementing sustainable lifestyle changes.

Additionally, my experience working within law enforcement and correctional settings provided meaningful exposure to high-conflict and high-sensitivity environments. I served in multiple roles within a police department, including Records, Property and Evidence, and administrative support for investigative units, where I interacted with victims, suspects, officers, and families in cases involving assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.
I also participated in community outreach through service initiatives supporting families in need. As a jail administrative assistant, I supported facility operations and inmate programming while gaining experience working directly with incarcerated individuals, with a focus on rehabilitation, accountability, and respectful engagement.

Together, these professional experiences have shaped a grounded, trauma-informed, and systems-aware approach to care. They allow me to meet individuals with empathy, structure, and humility—understanding that healing often happens at the intersection of personal story, environment, and support.
“My work is shaped by real-life experience across many roles, helping me meet people with empathy, respect, and practical support wherever they are.”
