How does Gottman Therapy work?

  1. Initial meeting to get to know each other.
    Your counselor will  focus on understanding your relationship’s story, goals, and areas of concern. 

     
  2. Together we do a relationship assessment.
    Your Gottman assessment will help identify communication patterns, strengths, and challenges unique to your relationship.

     

  3. Your counselor will create a personalized therapy plan.
    You will learn to rebuildi trust, deepen connection and improve communication in your relationship.

     

  4. You will do skill-building sessions.
    Couples learn practical tools and guided exercises to strengthen emotional intimacy and understanding.

     

  5. We offer faith-integrated support if you both choose.
    If desired, faith and spiritual values are thoughtfully integrated into therapy, helping couples connect on a deeper spiritual level.

     

  6. On going growth and healing.
    As therapy progresses, couples continue practicing their new skills, nurturing a stronger, more resilient partnership.
